After graduating with a degree in Media Arts, she had the opportunity to teach and volunteer as a missionary in various northern regions in Taiwan. Later, with her husband, she lived in Zhongli, Taiwan for 2 years. In this time, she taught English in small class and private tutoring environments–this is where she developed her language teaching methods and started creating more effective curriculum. Now, residing in Florida with her husband and two children, she is still developing language curriculum, this time with a focus on young children learning Chinese.
